During the 2017 Awards Ceremony, members of 2015 Arctic Inspiration Prize Laureate team Qaggiavuut!, gave a stunning performance of Kiviuq Returns, based on the legends of the Inuit hero Kiviuq.

The 2017 laureates received an original piece of northern artwork by artists from Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Nunavik, provided with the support of AIP Arts and Culture Partners, Avataq Cultural Institute and the Yukon First Nations Culture & Tourism Association.
